Safran Landing Systems is a subsidiary of Safran Landing Systems, a world leader in landing and braking systems for aircraft. The Mirabel plant is dedicated to the manufacturing of major landing gear components for Airbus A320, A330, and A350 models, as well as the Boeing 787. It features state-of-the-art equipment for machining, polishing, and special processes, including heat treatment, shot blasting, and surface treatments.
The position involves cleaning the surfaces of parts by sandblasting either to remove the oxide layer produced during heat treatment before subsequent machining operations or to prepare the parts before plating to ensure good adhesion.
Tasks include:
• moving parts using lifting devices
• installing the part on a mounting jig and preparing it by installing various masks or tools, according to
the technical drawing
• performing sandblasting operations by operating equipment equipped with a robot, according to the
technical procedures
• completing the sandblasting of the part using specialized manual equipment while respecting the parameters
• inspecting parts to ensure compliance with specifications
• completing the appropriate quality assurance documentation
• performing daily self-maintenance of equipment
• conducting sand analysis (granulometry)
• contributing to the continuous improvement of operations and achieving objectives in terms of safety, quality, costs,
High school diploma (equivalency certificate not accepted)
• Experience in manual work in a manufacturing environment

Night shift: from 00:10 to 06:40.
Note: Depending on the collective agreement rules, the position may change shifts (day, evening, or weekend)
• The salary for this position starts between $26.91 and $36.59 per hour, depending on your skills, experience, and qualifications. With internal training and your progression in acquiring job-related skills, the hourly wage will increase up to a maximum of $40.62.
