WORKING MODE: Hybrid. Please note that this position requires a minimum of 3 days per week in-person.
WORK LOCATION: Project Planning and Execution Service, 1200 BOUL CHOMEDEY Laval H7V 3Z3
Reporting to the construction operations manager, you will perform various technical tasks involving collaboration in the implementation and execution of municipal works.
Specifically, you will be required to:
- Coordinate and plan the necessary technical assistance for the execution of projects;
- During site inspections, identify and analyze observed anomalies and provide the most appropriate solutions, submitting a report to your supervisor regarding your observations and inspections.
- Participate in site meetings during the execution of works and ensure compliance with plans and specifications. Submit a report to your supervisor regarding your observations.
- Develop content and write various technical and administrative reports and submit them to your supervisor for approval.
- Within the limits of your responsibilities, exchange technical information relevant to your expertise with various stakeholders.
- Conduct various research tasks for general information, technical data, topographical compilations, or others as part of studies and projects to be prepared by the Service.
- Hold a DEC in building engineering, civil engineering, or architecture;
- Have three (3) years of experience in construction on multidisciplinary projects;
- Possess a valid class 5 driver's license;
- Have strong technical skills in preparation, design, and execution of works with a demonstrated ability to analyze sites, identify constraints, and support intervention planning;
- Capable of conducting rigorous field audits, documenting findings, and ensuring structured follow-up on the progress of works;
