Civil Engineering Technician - Design Division

Reporting to the design division head, you will perform various technical tasks involving the development and execution of civil engineering studies as well as the creation of plans, drawings, graphics, and other visual representations using various software (geomatics, vector graphics, etc.), specifications, quantity calculations, and cost estimates. You will specifically produce maps and plans using software such as Autocad Civil 3D, ArcGis for municipal infrastructure work. Additionally, you will assist engineers in project design. You will also be required to produce various research result reports in the form of tables and information grids.

• Education obtained through a college diploma (DEC) in civil engineering;
• Possess three (3) years of relevant experience in the production of plans and specifications, quantity calculations, and cost estimation;
• Good knowledge of the Office suite;
• Good knowledge of geomatics tools (ArcGIS, ArcMap, AutoCAD, etc.);
• Possess a valid driver's license and a vehicle;
• Hold safety training for construction sites (ASP).
