Electromechanic – Day Shift
Location: Chaudière-Appalaches

Schedule: 40 hours per week
Shift: Day, from 7 AM to 3:10 PM
Work Days: Monday to Friday
Salary: From $27 to $31 per hour, depending on experience
About the Position

As an electromechanic, you will directly contribute to the reliability, improvement, and performance of production equipment.
You will work on conventional and automated systems, solve various technical problems, and participate in concrete continuous improvement projects.

Under the responsibility of the maintenance coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, estimating, leading, or performing the installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of conventional and automated production machines and systems.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform the installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment.
- Modify and improve machines or automated production systems to increase yield, reliability, and safety.
- Design, implement, and manage preventive and systematic maintenance methods and processes for industrial equipment.
- Use conventional and computerized tools to track maintenance work.
- Program, modify, and update programmable logic controllers and various controllers present in production equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, electronic, and automated problems.
- Analyze and apply the concepts of electrodynamics and electronics necessary for solving technical problems.
- Collaborate with production teams to reduce downtime and improve equipment performance.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects.
- Perform any other related tasks.
Job Requirements
- Hold a DEC in industrial maintenance technology;
- Hold a DEP in electromechanics of automated systems;
- Hold a diploma in a relevant field, combined with experience in industrial maintenance.
- Have a minimum of one year of experience in electromechanics or industrial maintenance.
- Have practical experience with programmable logic controllers.
- Be able to perform diagnostics, programming, modification, or updating of PLCs.
- Have experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Be able to read and interpret plans, electrical diagrams, and technical documents.
- Experience in a robotic environment is an asset.
