CNC Machinist

About the Position

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company, is looking for a CNC machinist to join their production team. You will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to manufacture precision parts that meet technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings and engineering plans
• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines (lathes, milling machines, machining centers)
• Make the necessary adjustments to ensure the accuracy of the parts produced
• Check the quality of parts using measuring instruments (micrometer, calipers, etc.)
• Perform basic equipment maintenance
• Comply with current health and safety standards
• An asset: proficiency in Mastercam software for toolpath programming

Profile

• DEP in machining or equivalent experience
• 3 to 5 years of experience as a CNC machinist
• Good knowledge of reading mechanical drawings
• Knowledge of Mastercam is a significant asset
• Attention to detail and rigorous quality control
• Autonomy and ability to work in a team
