Structural Welder – Flux-Core (FCAW)

We are currently seeking a skilled Structural Welder with experience in Flux-Core Arc Welding (FCAW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in semi-automatic flux-core welding in multiple positions and capable of performing a variety of welding and shop-related tasks in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform semi-automatic flux-core welding in various positions (flat, vertical, overhead).

• Carry out pre-heating, fillet and full penetration welds, as well as gouging and grinding operations.

• Operate and maintain equipment including welding machines, cranes, torches, and grinders.

• Safely handle and move materials throughout the shop, maintaining neat and organized material stacks.

• Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in structural welding (preferred).

• Strong understanding of welding symbols, shop drawings, and safety standards.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Physically capable of handling materials and standing for extended periods.
